An instantly accessible online lifestyle guide to what’s hip and happening in the world, it's no surprise that we have become a favourite amongst the fashionable, the knowledgeable and the powerful. As influential as we are stylish, Gunpowder is the one-stop source for the latest trends as and when they occur.

Who runs Gunpowder?
Gunpowder is run by Nick Clarke, self-appointed editor and media mogul-in-the-making. Gunpowder is the first publication set up by Nick's company, Bonfire Publications, with other Websites planned in the near future to cover topics such as celebrity and politics. Having completed his degree in English Literature and Media Studies at the University of Sussex, Nick wasted no time in approaching high-profile glossies for work. After writing for a number of prominent lifestyle titles, Nick decided to set up on his own armed with the necessary experience, contacts and passion. Although Gunpowder went without a name for quite some time, he knew that his magazine would have guts, glamour, gumption and glitz; above everything else, it would make luxury fun again. After all, Nick says, "Spending money is fun, and magazines about shopping and consumerism should reflect that. Reading Vogue or some other snooty mag, you'd think it was plain torture." Finally, after much oohing and aahing, he arrived at the name Gunpowder; a flashy-trashy publication that would shake up a snoozing industry with explosive content and an in-yer-face design. With a tone that is reactive, opinionated and aggressive, together with an editorial melting pot of topics and burning issues, what other name was there?
