You Don't Own Me![]() Written by Jolyon Fenwick and Marcus Husselby, the founders of super-exclusive retail Website 20ltd.com, Einstein's Watch pulls together rare and priceless objects from around the globe, from Einstein's original watch (hence the book's title) to a hard disk containing the details of MP's expenses (now that we'd like to see). Providing a refreshing break from traditional consumer commentary - Gunpowder excluded, of course - the book covers a range of quirky objects; our favourite, however, is the £1-million bank note, issued by the UK Treasury in connection with Marshall Aid - valid for just six weeks. And then there's the 'Black Canary' Barbie featured on the dust-jacket; produced by Mattel in 2008 to herald DC Comics' heroine of the same name, the doll is a must-have in fishnet stockings and leather boots. Hell, she looks like Britney mid-breakdown! Ingenious and intriguing, we think it's great that not everything featured on the book's glossy pages is necessarily expensive; this is about cultural significance, not massive numbers. www.profilebooks.com / Images: Einstein's Watch
