Shooting Up The exhibition - entitled ‘Gesamkunstwerk’, meaning a constantly growing, universal work of art – was held at the Yautepec Gallery in the capital until earlier this month. Made up of 18 large-scale posters, Artemio shocked critics with snowflake-like shapes made up of guns, grenades, rifles and machetes. While we can’t imagine this kind of art hanging on the walls of Gunpowder HQ – machine gun grey doesn’t really go with our pastel colour palette, unfortunately - we do appreciate its boldness, particularly in a world where war frequently prevails over peace. www.yau.com.mx / Images: Yautepec Gallery
