MYLA

Girl On Film

Fans of Tera Patrick's blue movies may be surprised to learn that she began her career as a pin-thin model on the catwalks of Milan, Paris and New York; yes, the woman now famous for wearing very little (if anything at all, in most scenes) once made money by covering up. Ironic, isn't it? Because of her rebellious streak - having turned her vuluptuous behind on the world of fashion in favour of the top-shelf stuff - skateboard brand Supreme, known for its carefree philosophy, picked Patrick to front the brand. A few seasons on, photographer Kenneth Cappello (below) was chosen to photograph Patrick for the New York-based label in a variety of compromising positions. While it's certainly refreshing to see Polaroid imagery back with its inimitable colours and exposure, we're not so sure whether these snaps mark Patrick's return to high-end fashion. At least we hope they don't, particularly if the wet t-shirt above is anything to go by.
