That said, Burbridge doesn't sacrifice his art for the mass market; instead, he plays into it with a style that is a careful combination of consumer gloss mixed with a touch of the avant-garde. As a result, Burbridge's work has appeared in publishing's most prolific magazines, from i-D to Italian Vogue, and has also appeared in campaigns for big-name brands including MAC and Louis Vuitton. What makes Burbridge's work all the most interesting, however, is its versatility; while it graces the covers of the glossies and appears on billboards, it wouldn't look out of place at a high-end art exhibition.
