Requesting that the designers think 'outside of the box', Veuve Clicquot commissioned London-based Tom Dixon, Swedish collective Front Design and French firm 5.5 Designers for the project. Dixon's interpretation of the DesignBox is a spectacular lamp, while Front Design opted for a cool sofa. 5.5 Designers, however, went for cellar design - the perfect way to store precious cargo. The designs, which are all eco-friendly and fit in with Veuve Clicquot's sustainable production methods, make up an exhibit at this year's Milan Furniture Fair and will go on sale in June. We'll certainly toast to that!
