The hotel's Artistic Director, Maud Lesur, has gone for a theme that can only be described as 'Arty Spring', transforming the entire aesthetic of the hotel from 27 March to 25 June. A cultural celebration of spring, fun and offbeat contemporary art, the theme uses the two colours of aniseed green and mauve to create showstopping environments throughout the hotel's public spaces; jaw-dropping floral arrangements and artworks in the lobby; incredible table arrangements in the Joel Robuchon restaurant; and a potent 'Pop Art' cocktail in the bar. Even the hotel's spa, ESPA, will be themed, with packages such as the Contour and Firm Body Treatment for ladies and the Aromatherapy Fitness Massage for gents. To get the most out of this wonderful theme, we highly recommend the hotel's Arty Spring Stay package, which encompasses a VIP welcome, breakfast at the Joel Robuchon restaurant and accommodation in a superior room, in which you'll be kept in the manner to which you've no doubt become accustomed. You'll also enjoy the privileges of a Métropole Lifestyle card, which will grant you free access to the Monte-Carlo casino and priority access to the hotel's Fitness Studio and outdoor heated swimming pool. Although Gunpowder has never met a theme it didn't love, we've got to admit that this is a cut above the rest.
