Blonde Ambition
Since they became the staple footwear of Sarah Jessica-Parker's character Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City, Jimmy Choo has been the epitome of city chic. Founder and girl-about-town Tamara Mellon couldn't have asked for better marketing if she'd paid for it, with the brand's profile (and sales!) sky-rocketing as fashion-hungry females hit the shops to copy Carrie's look. Now that Sex and the City has disappeared from our small screens, Tamara is left with a hugely successful brand coveted by fashionistas and celebrities alike. This season Tamara has recruited super-talented photographer Terry Richardson to shoot the Spring/Summer 2009 campaign, which features model Angel Lindvall in a variety of racy poses. As we've come to expect from the luxury label, the new collection is made up of killer looks, with a range of sexy stilettos and sandals complete with contrasting stitching and finishes. As Tamara says, "It doesn't matter what you are wearing - if you have good shoes and a good bag, you'll look right." Who knew blonde It-girls could be so business-savvy?
