Child's Play
Able to customise any number of games for its high-end clientele, from chess to backgammon, Zontik Games has a true passion for swanky game-playing. Its Monopoly set is particularly impressive, with 70 gold and silver inlays, precision dice and leather bound 'Bank' boxes, all set on an exquisite hand-bound scalloped-sided plinth in Dauphin calf. The cost? Anywhere between $4,290 and $7,570, depending on how extravagant you want to be (and let's face it, you'll want to impressive your fellow game-players). Roman Abramovsky, president of Zontik Games, says; "We're basically asking our customers to challenge us. If they want some rare wood, or gold, or an eccentric material, we'll find it and make it happen. That's the fun for us, and that's where we really shine." When you've got a Monopoly board like this, who needs Mayfair?
