Although many drivers will think that the car's '722' label is to do with its power output - which actually stands at 650hp - the number is in reference to a 1955 race in which Sterling Moss competed in a Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR. The start-time? Exactly 7.22am, of course. Although its design is based on the SLR Roadster, the 722 S has a number of significant improvements that places it in a league of its very own, including a body made completely from carbon-fiber, a hand-built 5.5-litre supercharged V8 engine, and a fully-retractable folding roof designed to withstand extremely high speeds. And let us tell you, you certainly won't be poodling down the slow lane in this mean machine - in fact, we highly recommend you drive it like you stole it!
