Circle Of Trust
Since its launch in 2005, the Oyster Club has got its grubby little hands on luxury accommodation around the globe, with posh properties in premier locations such as St Tropez, Miami, New York, Cape Town, St Lucia, Cannes and the Bahamas. Most properties are worth about £4-million each, so members are assured that they'll be kept in the manner to which they've become accustomed. As well as the use of a luxury apartment or villa, membership to the exclusive club also includes on-site hotel-style services such as a dedicated personal assistant and a twenty-four-hour concierge service. We particularly love the thought of a Jeeves-style personal assistant, as travel plans can be ghastly to arrange yourself when you've more important things to do like shop for your holiday wardrobe. As part of the membership, your personal assistant will arrange your itinerary from start to finish, including flights, transfers, grocery delivery, car rental, nanny hire, spa treatments and restaurant reservations. In fact, they'll do pretty much everything you want them to do so long as you say please and thank you and don't throw any Elton John-esque hissy fits. The most fabulous thing about the Oyster Club, however, is that unlike many other travel clubs we've come across the ratio of luxury properties to guests will never exceed 1:6, meaning there'll always be somewhere suitably stylish for you to stay however spontaneous your trip may be. Because everything is included in your membership, travelling with the Oyster Circle is significantly cheaper than enjoying upscale travel outside of the club, leaving you to fritter away your hard-earned holiday cash on more important spends like ice-cold mojitos. And that, we think, is absolutely priceless.
