Club Tropicana
While pages of press coverage ensure that Mahiki doesn't need a thorough introduction, many don't know that the club is the brainchild of city-slickers Piers Adam and Nick House, and mimics the style of the Park Lane Hilton's Trader Vic's perfectly. Inside guests find suitably tropical furnishings, including garish Hawaiian prints, wooden Tiki figures, bamboo chairs, tropical flora, rattan swing chairs and hand-carved totems. Split between two floors, the club has a dark 'n' broody bar on the first floor, while a banging club with DJ booth and raucous dance floor feature below.
