Off The Wall*
Featuring over 50 of the prestigious publication's newly-sanctioned practices from across the globe, the magazine has appropriately dubbed the list 'the 50 hottest young architects.' As a naturally inquisitive bunch, Gunpowder had a good old rummage through the magazine's selection to see who made it onto the list; fortunately, talented practices such as MCP Arquitectura in Spain and ISSHO in Japan make well-deserved appearances, as does Front Studio from the United States. We're a little disappointed Norway's Snohetta didn't make it in (a personal favourite of ours), but there's always next year, and, as they say, you can't win 'em all! No doubt architects from across the globe will be logging on right now to see if they've made the cut, and, with only the cream of the crop appearing, they'll sincerely hope they did.
