Surprisingly, the Pantova couch was originally designed in 1971, although it still manages to look like something that may furnish the inside of an alien craft. While it certainly doesn't look the comfiest couch around, with no deep pillows or cushions to sink into, it is a wonder of vintage design, with remarkable lines and a sleek, contemporary aesthetic. Stretching 74-inches, we highly recommend buyers go for the added extra of cushions, as thighs will be left with unsightly indentations without them. It doesn't come cheap at $5,000, but then again, who can put a price on timeless style?
