Rockin' 'N' Rollerin'
Featuring the same long-hood, high-beltline characteristics as the Phantom series (although it will be significantly smaller), the RR4 will run on a new engine that will be exclusive to Rolls-Royce. Chief designer at the luxury marque, Ian Cameron, said: "Effortless performance and standard-setting levels of comfort and efficiency, executed with the utmost care and attention, remain fundamentals of Rolls-Royce design. The RR4 has a more informal presence than the Phantom models with a greater emphasis on driving. In design terms this is expressed through its slightly smaller dimensions and more organic form, yet with powerful, purposeful proportions. It is a true and uncompromising Rolls-Royce in every sense." Proving how serious Rolls-Royce are about the RR4 is the manufacturer's reconfiguration of its Goodwood factory, which is being extended to accommodate production of the promising new model. Elegant and powerful, we can't wait to get behind the wheel when this star is born.
