Sail Away
Conceived by industrial designer Erik Sifrer, the 187-foot mega-yacht harnesses wind and hyrdogen power to make for a truly planet-friendly boating concept. Featuring two automated Aero-sail systems that can be controlled via touch-screen, as well as an onboard computer that can determine the best position of the sail to maximise wind acceleration, the two back-up engines stashed in the hull are made practically redundant. Other than the technological stuff, the yacht is pretty damn fine to look at, too; comprising a pool and Jacuzzi on the deck, separate owner and staff quarters, futuristic interiors and sails embedded with a spectrum of multi-coloured lights, this is one yacht Abramovich will almost certainly be adding to his Christmas wish-list.
