Here Comes The Bride
Shot by none other than Nick Knight, the latest Agent Provocateur campaign, a series of six photos appropriately called 'White Wedding', shows Miss Moss in the kind of underthings that would make any red-blooded, would-be groom want to consummate the marriage on the altar in front of the blushing congregation. Sadly, the only flesh on display is of the decent variety and Moss is shown in the lingerie firm's modest, but no less sexy, 2008 bridal underwear collection. The photos depict a kind of fantasy-like, dream world, where Moss is shown in the middle of a fairytale marriage before changing her mind at the last minute. As any celebrity gossip monger will know, this is clearly a case of art imitating life as model Moss is set to marry her own, er, scrubbier version of Prince Charming in the form of rocker Jamie Hince this summer. Let's just hope that she doesn't ditch him on the day, especially if it's for someone by the name of Doherty! Despite referencing some scenes of horror in the snaps, with blood and skulls, the images are still slightly more innocent than Moss's real-life wedding will undoubtedly be (we imagine she'll get a container-load of Colombia's finest shipped in to ice the cake with, at the very least!). Agent Provocateur co-founded Joe Corre said: "My inspiration was not to question the idea of marriage but to question the moralistic and religious overtones that are placed on marriage. I am merely challenging the authority of the Church, which in many cases has been guilty of the most inhumane acts. I thought [Kate] was the perfect choice because she never gives in. She's an incredible person and, as everyone knows, she's also an incredible model."
