In His Shoes
Nearly sixth months on from showcasing at DesignArt London, these stunning photographs still haven't lost their impact. Featuring five limited-edition pairs of red-sole Louboutin shoes alongside five signed photographs of the shoes by Lynch, the exhibition brought London's art scene to a standstill with its sexual aggression and underground style. Fusing art and alternative fashion, the photos feature limited-edition Louboutin shoes, each with 25-centimetre heels and spikes on the insides and soles. There's even a special 'Siamese' pair fused at the heel! Lynch, a friend of Louboutin, shot the models in various sadomasochistic positions in an attempt to fetishise an everyday object. More sculptural than wearable, this daring duo should definitely collaborate more often.
