Google Her
With her debut album, From A Planet Called Harlem, about to drop, Teyana is going to explode onto the scene big-style; once her single starts making its rounds on MTV, they'll be no stopping her. A heady mix of breathy singing and hardcore rapping, the record will ensure Teyana's name is known outside of her native New York. This isn't her first brush with fame, either; she first appeared on MTV's My Super Sweet 16, her choreography can be seen in Beyonce's Ring The Alarm, and she's seen dancing like there's no tomorrow in Jay-Z's Blue Magic. Although Jay-Z jokingly teased her on-set, telling her, "You ain't no superstar!", we have to disagree. To our trained eye, Teyana's got superstar written all over her. Watch this space.
