Mr & Mrs Smith

French Fancy

A fan of motorbikes himself, it's hardly surprising that Starck was asked to design one for the French bike manufacturer. After all, it isn't his first, having designed one in 1995 for Aprilia. Made for serious bikers, the Voxan Café Racer Super Naked, as it is called, features Hog-esque high handlebars, look-at-me racing wheels and rather phallic-looking exhausts. If that's not enough testosterone to get your blood pumping, then the butch colour palette of black, red and white will certainly get you revved up. Weighing 180kg, this 140hp-prototype is just the thing to soothe any bruised egos out there. The only thing we're not quite sure about is the rather uncomfortable-looking saddle - just look at it! Clearly made for one, there'll be no romanic Sundays rides through the country for you and your loved one on a saddle as hard as that! Unless, of course, he/she sits on your shoulders, but that would be bordering on the ridiculous.
