Made In China
Revealed at Auto Shanghai 2007 - where else? - this retro-inspired design is the result of a crafty collaboration between Buick and Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center. Built around the Buick tri-shield logo mounted on a trihedral waterfall grille, the design of the two-seater, mid-size luxury Riviera features a reflective strip running down the hood, swooping Formula One-esque wing mirrors and well-sculptured carbon fiber bodywork. The whole thing sits pretty on 21-inch, 10-spoke forged aluminium wheels, while the inside is a stunning 'sanctuary' of deep-blues and creams. We're particularly loving the three-dimensional speedometer and the centre console with nifty touch-pad and LCD display. As a working prototype it's not known whether the concept will get the green light, but with looks this good we're certainly hoping so.
