A 25-foot, single-engine design that would put John Travolta's entire fleet to shame, the Eclipse Concept Jet, sadly, isn't intended for sale. Instead, the company assures us, it is being used solely for market research, testing consumer reactions to new technologies and designs. Vern Rabrun, founder of Eclipse Aviation and a former executive at Microsoft, knows that there is a demand to cut fuel emissions and believes that there is a growing trend towards smaller planes that are kinder to the skies. Featuring a slinky silhouette that is sure to set it apart from its bulkier competitors, and boasting enough room for three passengers and one pilot inside, we think old Vern may have cracked it.
