Named the Warrior, the super-expensive bag is made from 24-carat gold alligator skin - painted, one presumes, unless the Everglades are teaming with gold-plated crocs we don't know about - and comes in a nice 'n' slouchy half-crescent shape. Complete with drawstrings and suitably flashy armour plating, the bag hits the high-end shelves in the wake of similarly expensive creations by fellow fashion houses Louis Vuittton and Chanel, who last year launched the Tribute Patchwork and Forever Bags, respectively. While many of you will gasp in horror at the sheer frivolity of spending such a huge sum of money on an item we only end up stuffing with junk, no doubt cash-happy fashionistas across the globe have already put their hyphenated names on the waiting list - and you can bet your bottom dollar Mrs Beckham's one of them.
