The Milestone Hotel in London, Kensington. It is not very big but it
is really lovely and the staff are really welcoming and friendly

I have been very fortunate and stayed in some fab hotels but i do have
a funny story about one of them.
My family and I spent one christmas in New York and stayed at the
Plaza Hotel. This is well before the refurb took place, but even now
it looks just as, if not more stunning than it used to.
I was only 7 or 8 i think when i stayed there with My parents and
younger sister, infact the reason we ended up staying there was
because the film "Home Alone 2" was made there and my dad made sure we
stayed on the same floor as Mccauley Culkin.
I remember it being so big and glamourous and when we arrived there
was loads of paparrazi around and we were wondering what the hell was
going on. Photographers kept asking us if we had come for the wedding
and it was only when we got inside that we realised what was going
on.
The staff also asked if we were there for the wedding whilst
barricading the doors to stop the all the flashing from the cameras,
my father said no and asked whos wedding it was, to which the
registrar replied Donald Trumps!
We were then shown to our room which was spectacular and after sorting
ourselves out we decided to venture outside to find some food.
As we were leaving we saw Michael Jackson arrive and a few other
guests. It was so strange and surreal!
We walked out the doors to all the camera crews and they started
shouting out all kinds of questions. One of them asked "Where are you
going? Whats going on with the wedding?" to which my dad replied "I
dont know we're just taking the girls for a McDonalds!"

I've got 2 favourite hotels.
Firstly, the Hotel de Vin in Tunbridge Wells. It's set inside a
beautiful grade 2 listed building built in the 18th century and has
some of the nicest decor I've seen in hotel - simply and elegant
without being glitzy or chintzy. The service is superb and the food is
to die for. The best feature for me was the hotel bar - light solely
by candle light at night, with old, heavy wooden furniture, lush
drapes and a superb wine list, you could easily imagine Oscar Wilde
holding court there or many a classic novel being borne there.
Secondly, it has to be the Hotel Frederico in Granada, Spain. This
tiny boutique hotel of just 12 rooms or so is set right in the heart
of the old town. The service was great and the rooms, whilst small,
were all indiviually designed, beautifully so in fact. Breakfast was
served in a small Moorish den. A real treat.
